Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) are the standard form of brakes in all cars nowadays. It’s not an extra feature. All cars come equipped with ABS—it’s a legal requirement.
What ABS actually do is automatically pump the brake peddles to ensure they don’t lock up—giving you better control when you drive and greatly reducing the danger if you need to slam on the brakes suddenly.
