Texas has several types of driving records, but a Type 3A record is one of the most complete ones you can get. It can be used as verification for a defensive driving course, and it includes the following information:
- Name
- Date of birth
- License status
- List of all accidents and violations in record
- DPS certification of all information
You can get a Type 3A copy of your record quickly by using the Texas DPS online record request system to print it, or you can mail in a request to have a copy mailed to you.
