What happens when you damage a rental car?
Would there be any other fees associated with damaging a rental car, even if I have coverage? I have Progressive and I know my policy applies to rental cars.

policy extends to rental cars, you will receive the same coverage in the event of an accident with a rental car.If you don’t have a separate
rental car insurance
through the rental car company and you get in an accident, you’ll have to submit a claim with your car insurance company. After submitting a claim, you may see your car insurance rate increase at your next policy renewal.
Another fee you may encounter is loss of use charges.
When a rental car is damaged, these charges apply to make up for the revenue lost while the rental car is out of commission. Most auto insurance companies do not cover this fee, but many credit cards do.
If you’ve purchased the rental car with your credit card, be sure to reach out to your credit card company to confirm your benefits.”
