I’m sorry to hear that your dad’s license got revoked! When your driving license is revoked, you’ll be banned from driving for an indeterminate amount of time. However, he’s not banned forever! If your dad wants to try and get his license back, there are two approaches that he can take:
Appeal the decision. If your dad thinks that the court may have made a mistake in revoking his license, he can
Apply for a new license. Depending on the severity of the charge that led to your dad’s license being revoked, he can try to apply for a new license to replace his old one. This avenue will work for some offenders but not for others, so it can help to discuss your options with a traffic lawyer first.
