What happens if my front shocks are leaking?

My parents got a good deal on a BMW 750 a few hours away, and I’m having to drive it back to deliver it to them. I can’t manage to get the gas door open on it, though. What’s the trick to opening this thing?

I was driving my new Honda Civic EX the other day when I noticed a bit of a rumbling and vibration when I applied the brakes. I took it to a repair shop and they told me that the rotors were cracked. I’ve only driven the car about 10,000 miles. Are brake rotors covered under the Honda warranty?
