What happens if I fail my driving test in Texas?

I’ve been studying and practicing for my driving test nonstop. I’m the last of my friends to turn 16, so I’m eager to finally get my license. I can’t help but worry though—what if I fail the test?

First and foremost—breathe! It’s totally normal to be nervous about your driving test. The good news is that even if you fail your driving test in Texas, you’ll be able to retake the test three more times within 90 days.
Nerves can affect your written and in-person performance, so keep in mind that you’ve done everything you could do to prepare for the test. If being anxious happens to get the best of you and you don’t pass, then you’ll have to wait just two weeks to test again. Every retest will cost $7.00.
If worst comes to worst and you fail all three tempts within 90 days, your application will be rejected and you’ll need to start the process from the beginning.
Keep in mind that with driver’s education, practice, and studying under your belt—you should feel confident when you take the test the first time around.
Once you do pass the driving test (and I’m confident that you will!), you’ll need to get yourself situated with
