I took my driving test for the third time yesterday and I failed again. I’m not sure what steps I need to take next. How many fails are you allowed in a driving test?

Don’t get down on yourself! Driving isn’t innate to everyone, so you probably just need more experience. If you fail your driving test three times, you’re required to take additional behind-the-wheel training or courses.
Until you complete this extra training, the DMV won’t allow you to retake the test. In some states, you may also have to reapply for a learner’s permit before you go back to driving school.
Ask your local DMV for specific instructions and a list of approved driving schools so you can get back in the driver’s seat. With any luck, you should pass your next exam with flying colors!
