Congrats on your incoming Durango! The Dodge lifetime powertrain warranty covers everything included in the basic limited powertrain warranty but extends it to the vehicle’s lifetime.
Typically, the covered components include:
- Your engine
- Transmission
- Drive system
- Fluids and filters
- Drive axles
- Transfer case
That said, only select dealerships offer the Dodge lifetime powertrain warranty. If it is offered at your dealership, it will usually come included with your Durango purchase.
Most Dodges, however, come with a standard 5-year or 600,000-mile powertrain limited warranty instead. Like the lifetime powertrain warranty, this covers the cost of repairs and replacements for covered powertrain components in the event that a manufacturer defect is discovered—but only for 5 years or 600,000 miles.
