I’m thinking about getting a new Escalade and I was poking around on Cadillac’s website. It looks like new Cadillacs come with a pretty decent warranty. What’s covered under the powertrain coverage?

It’s always good to know the details of your car’s warranty so you’re prepared in case you need to use it. The Cadillac powertrain warranty specifically covers the engine, drive systems, and transmission/transaxle or transfer case mechanisms for 6 years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Note that the warranty will not cover damage that’s due to wear and tear, misuse of the vehicle, or poor maintenance.
