Before we can tell you what may be covered by your Dodge warranty, we need to figure out what coverage you have since new Dodges don’t feature a 100,000-mile warranty of any kind. Dodge used to offer a 5-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, but that ended in 2015.
Currently, all new Dodges feature the following standard warranties:
  • 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty
  • 3-year/36,000-mile basic limited warranty
  • MOPAR parts and accessories limited warranties in varying times and mileages
You also have the option of adding a MOPAR extended warranty that extends your powertrain limited warranty out to 12 years or 160,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The best way to determine what warranty coverage you have on your new Dodge will be to check your new-car paperwork or just give your salesperson a call. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got
Dodge car insurance
coverage that will protect you as well as your new Dodge’s warranties.
