What does DLA mean on a credit report?

I just printed my credit report, and I’m seeing tons of codes that I don’t recognize. “DLA”—what is that? I feel like a millennial who doesn’t understand Gen Z lingo… What does DLA on my credit report mean?

Oh, man, I can’t keep up with the Gen Z slang either! This millennial’s got you covered on DLA though. DLA on your credit report stands for date of last activity. This refers to the last time there was activity on your account—like a new payment, an increase in balance, etc.
Those codes can be confusing, so here’s a credit report cheat sheet:
  • XP: Experian
  • TU: TransUnion
  • EF: Equifax
  • MTG: Mortgage
  • NST: Installment
  • Auto: Auto loan
  • CRCD: Credit card
  • COLL: Collection
  • REV: Revolving
  • EDU: Education
  • COSI: Cosigner
  • LEAS: Lease
