I’m in the midst of purchasing a Ford. However, I want to make sure they stand behind their vehicles with a decent warranty. What is included in the Ford 5-year warranty for new cars?

The Ford 5-year warranty pertains to a powertrain warranty. While the 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty will cover you from bumper to bumper, the 5-year, 60,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) only covers you for defects pertaining to the powertrain parts. This includes the engine, transmission, axels, and drivetrain. It doesn’t cover wear and tear or maintenance, even if you purchased a new vehicle.
The Ford 5-year warranty can certainly protect you from any manufacturing defects or mishaps, but as for maintenance and wear and tear, you’re on your own. So if you want to find cheap
