What do the dash lights in my Volvo XC90 mean?

Yesterday another dash light popped up in my Volvo XC90 and I’m not sure what it means. I’ve never had maintenance problems with my car before, so this is surprising to me. Can you tell me what the dash lights on my Volvo XC90 mean?

Just because your
Volvo XC90
dash lights are lit-up doesn’t mean your car needs to be brought to the repair shop.
The Volvo XC90 has dashboard lights that usually fit into one of three categories:
  • Vehicle feature symbols, including high beam engagement, parking brake engagement, or whether your rain sensor is on.
  • Vehicle warning symbols that alert you to your engine coolant temperature, oil pressure, seat belt functionality, and tire pressure
  • Other vehicle symbols like your air conditioning system and vehicle power
Red lights indicate serious issues; amber lights indicate a problem. However, you’re usually still able to drive your car, and green, blue, or white lights indicate that you’re using a certain feature and there’s nothing to worry about.
Figuring out what your dash lights mean can be stressful and time-consuming, but finding great insurance coverage while saving money doesn’t have to be. With
