You probably received an ID card and a paper description of your policy. Put your insurance ID card in your glovebox and tuck the paper policy safely at home.

proof of insurance
is now legal. This means that you can show proof of insurance on your phone
. Snap a photo of your insurance ID card and save it to your Favorites album. You will need this information if you get pulled over or get into an accident. Be aware that there are serious
penalties for using fake proof of insurance
