Last week I was working on my car and left the hood open overnight. Unfortunately, it rained last night and my car battery got wet. What do I do if my wet car battery won’t start?

That’s terrible news! If you have a wet car battery that won’t start, it likely short-circuited and died. You’ll need to have the battery replaced to get your car running again.
You can have your car battery replaced for $200 at an auto repair shop. If you want to save money, you can replace it yourself and just pay for the car battery which usually costs about $45.
