What causes the 2015 Chrysler 300 ticking noise?

I haven’t noticed any significant drain in power or performance, but my 2015 Chrysler 300 started to make a weird ticking noise. I’m not sure if this is a big problem or not. What’s causing the 2015 Chrysler 300 to tick?

The 2015 Chrysler 300 isn’t known to have any significant problems that would cause a ticking noise, so diagnosing the cause isn’t easy as it could be a dozen of different things. However, when it comes to the
Chrysler 300 V6
, it may be due to an exhaust leak. When the
exhaust manifold gasket
cracks, escaping gas can make a ticking noise.
If that’s not the case, the ticking noise could be the result of one of these issues:
  • Dirty oil filter or a filter in need of replacement
  • The natural hum of the engine if you have a 5.7-liter HEMI V8
The only way to know what’s going on for sure is to take your car to the mechanic for diagnosis as soon as possible. The better you maintain a car maintenance schedule, the less likely issues will arise, and the better your
car insurance
rates will be.
