What car temperature is good to travel with my pet?

I just rescued a dog and she’s a bit sheepish, especially when we’re in the car. I’ve trained her to get in without hesitation, but I want to make sure she’s comfortable along the way. What’s a good temperature for my pet in the car?

That’s awfully sweet of you to take in a rescue dog. They certainly need your love!
To keep your dog comfortable, a good car temperature to travel with your pet is 50 to 70 degrees. Even better, aim for the same temperature that you keep your house.
By maintaining this temperature, your pet will feel more at ease and closer to home, especially since rescues can be a bit more apprehensive in new surroundings.
