So true that James Bond movies showcase some of the most luxurious cars! The car that the bad guy was driving in Spectre was an ultra-rare 2015 Jaguar C-X75 prototype—only five of them were made before Jaguar canceled production.
This ultra-sleek supercar isn’t just about looks—its design is focused on improving performance through leveraging aerodynamics. It also has an impressive list of features including a tubular spaceframe reinforced with extra-thick steel tubing, extra-travel suspension, and a rebuilt supercharged V8 engine with 492hp. With such power, the car can go from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds!
Since the C-X75 was used as a stunt car in Spectre, its interior did not receive the luxe furnishings of a regular Jaguar. Although this specific C-X75 was set to be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s in Abu Dhabi with an estimated value of $800,000 to $1.2 million, the car currently remains unsold.
