I need to change the tire on my Prius, but it’s a new car and I’ve never done it before. I need to jack the car up, and I don’t want to damage it. Where does the jack go on a Prius?
has two main jack points. These are under the car between each set of wheels. It also has four support points on the outside rail that runs the length of the car’s body. These are for placing jack stands in case you need to get under the car.
Remember to never put any part of your body under a lifted car unless it’s supported with jack stands—never just a jack.
You can see a detailed diagram of the Prius jack points in your owner’s manual.
