I’m on sabbatical, so I have a few months to travel. I want to explore New England, so I’m going to drive to Boston and start my trip there. What are some of the best things to do while I’m in Boston?

—is a great point to start your trip. Plus it’s packed with tons of activities you can’t do anywhere else. The best things to do in Boston include:- Walk the 2.5-mile Freedom Trail to gain some insight into the history of the country and its fight against the British.
- Go to a baseball game at Fenway Park. Built in 1914, it’s the oldest park in the major leagues, offering a one-of-a-king experience.
- Tour the Isabella Gardner Museum. Once a personal collection of Gardner, the museum is famous for a brazen robbery where thieves stole $400 million worth of art. The thieves cut the paintings out of the frames, but the frames still remain on the wall to this day.
