Congratulations to your wife on the new job! There are many beautiful places to live in Cambridge. In particular, the area surrounding the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridgeport, and Riverside are three of the best places to live in
Cambridge, MA
. Let’s discuss each of these areas:
- MIT: most of the area is owned by the University, but there are a handful of nice apartments and homes to rent or buy. You’ll never want for something to do—check out a concert at Kresge Auditorium or enjoy a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, which is just a mile away.
- Cambridgeport: located to the west of MIT along the Charles River, the area has been recently renovated and there are now many shops and restaurants to enjoy.
- Riverside: the most affordable neighborhood of the three, this area is ideal for families because there are many schools and childcare options located close by.
