Should I get all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive?
As I'm looking around at the dealership today, a salesman keeps bringing up all-wheel drive. I'm just buying a reliable new car to drive back and forth to work. Do I need all-wheel drive (AWD) or can I go with front-wheel drive (FWD)?

“Unless your commute is through snow or torrential downpours, you’ll probably be okay with front-wheel drive.
You may not have the same amount of traction as AWD, but the point is moot if you’re only using it as a commuter car. Save yourself the $3,000 and get the front-wheel drive.
