Should I add my sister's extra car to my insurance policy?
"I started borrowing my sister's car a few weeks ago while I was shopping for a new one. I really haven't found anything I like, and since this is her extra car, I'm not really in a rush to buy.
She has liability-only coverage on her policy. Should I add her car to my policy with full coverage for more protection?"

“You won’t need to add your sister’s car to your policy for coverage. As of now, you have what is called “”permissive use.”” This means since your sister has given you permission to drive her car, her policy limits will extend to you as a driver.
However, every insurance company is different and permissive use is usually only intended for occasional use of a vehicle.
If you are planning to drive the vehicle on a more long-term basis, your sister will want to add you to her policy as a driver and update the garaging address of the vehicle. If her carrier won’t allow the update due to the address change, see if she will switch the title of the car to your name for a while. This way, you can add the vehicle to your
