Is the Western Kentucky Parkway a toll road?

I’m traveling from my Kentucky home over to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. It seems like a straightforward trip, but I want to budget for tolls if there are any. Is there a toll on the Western Kentucky Parkway?

The Kentucky Derby is an experience unlike any other—I’m sure you’ll enjoy it! If you want to take the Western Kentucky Parkway, you’ll be glad to know that it no longer has a toll. The 98.5-mile stretch between Elizabethtown and Nortonville got rid of the toll in 1987, meaning that you can travel the stretch for free and get to your destination with no added cost.
While the Western Kentucky Parkway is no longer a toll, you still need car insurance to legally drive on it. Even if you have car insurance, it never hurts to review and compare
