Is the Toyota Prius Prime interior better than the Prius?
I’m considering getting either a Prius or a Prius Prime, but I’m not finding much information about what separates these two cars, other than the Prius is a plug-in hybrid. Is the Toyota Prius Prime interior nicer than the regular Prius? Does it have added features?

and the Toyota Prius Prime
interior and see their key differences, apart from the hybrid vs. plugin-in hybrid systems you already mentioned.Taking both cars for a test drive, the first thing you’ll notice is that yes, the Prius Prime has a nicer interior than the regular Prius. While the layouts are mostly the same and the features are nearly identical, the Prius Prime uses nicer materials and is generally more aesthetically pleasing.
Both cars are comfortable and share spacious seating accommodations for four. A fifth person can fit in the rear-middle seat, but it might feel cramped for most passengers.
The biggest difference with the interior is cargo space. The Prius Prime interior surrenders quite a bit of cargo space to the heftier EV battery. So while the Prius offers 27.4 cubic feet of storage space behind the back seat, the Prius Prime has a comparatively meager 19.8 cubic feet.
When you’re deciding between two cars, you need to test drive both of them to see which one feels better to you. Both the Prius and the Prius Prime are built for maximizing fuel efficiency, and they’re incredibly similar in most regards. It might boil down to which one feels better.
