I currently drive a RAV4, but I’ve been considering an upgrade for extra space. I’ve heard great things about the Highlander, but I’m worried it’ll be too big. Is it a midsize or full-size SUV?

The Toyota Highlander is considered a midsize SUV despite its three rows of seating. The 2023 Highlander comes in gas-powered and hybrid models, each with a handful of trims to choose from.
The base 2023 Highlander starts at $37,755 and comes standard with a 265-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The hybrid version starts at $41,555 and has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors. Both versions are available in either front- or all-wheel drive.
