Kia’s
10-year/100k limited powertrain warranty is absolutely transferable should you sell your car to a new owner. However, it will transfer as a 5-year/60,000-mile limited powertrain warranty, regardless of the remaining balance. In addition to the limited powertrain warranty, whatever is remaining of the following coverages are also transferred to the new owner upon resale:
5-year/60,000-mile limited basic warranty
5-year/100,000-mile limited anti-perforation warranty
5-year/60,000-mile roadside assistance plan
If the vehicle you’re selling is still eligible for extended warranty coverage, the new owner can also choose from a variety of protection plans for added peace of mind when the factory warranty expires.
Road Hazard Tire & Wheel Protection & Wheel Plan
