Is the Jeep death wobble covered by warranty?
I’ve always wanted a Jeep, but I’m a bit put off by the so-called Jeep death wobble. While I’m hoping that this never occurs, I want to make sure that Jeep will take care of it. Does the Jeep warranty cover the dreaded death wobble?

Triggered when you hit a bump or pothole when going more than 45 mph, the Jeep death wobble is definitely a cause for concern. Whether it’s covered by a warranty depends on what’s causing the death wobble.
If the wobble is caused by a faulty suspension or loose or damaged steering components, it’s likely a manufacturer’s defect that’s covered by the Jeep three-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty. If it’s due to something else, Jeep might deem it wear and tear and refuse to cover it under the warranty.
