I was looking at the available electric vehicles by Honda and I came across the Insight which is a name I’ve never seen before. Is the Honda Insight an electric car?

Yes, the Honda Insight is an electric car and it is one of Honda’s older hybrid vehicles.
The company announced in April 2022 that it will be discontinuing the Honda Insight hybrid sedan. While the vehicle is a little noisier than most due to the reduced bulk to make it a smaller vehicle, experts have a majority of good things to say about the vehicle. It drives smoothly and has great gas mileage.
After 23 years on the market, Honda plans on replacing it with the Civic hybrid which is similar but more recognizable to consumers. The company also plans on focusing its efforts more on the electrification of its other vehicles including the Accord, the CR-V crossover, and any new EV models to come.
If you’re thinking of purchasing one, there won’t be any more made after this year so used may be the way to go.
