Is the Fiat warranty transferable?

I’ve read that Fiat has come a long way in improving its vehicles’ reliability and dependability. I’m thinking about buying one, but I want to make sure that I can transfer the warranty if I decide to sell it in the future. Can I transfer a Fiat warranty?

The Fiat warranty is 100% transferable, regardless of whether you trade the vehicle in or you decide to sell it privately. This extends to every facet of the Fiat warranty, including:
  • 4-year, 50,000-mile powertrain warranty
  • 4-year, 50,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty
  • 4-year, unlimited-mile roadside assistance
  • 1-year, 12,000-mile adjustments warranty
The optional extended warranty is also transferable. You’ll just need to pay the $50 transfer fee to give this protection to a new owner.
These warranties protect your vehicle from workmanship problems and manufacturer defects. However, general wear and tear and maintenance are not included.
