Luckily, the BMW Certified Limited Warranty is transferable to a private buyer if you’re the original owner.
All you have to do is fill out the BMW Certified Limited Warranty transfer form online and mail it to the following address: BMW of North America, LLC, 5550 Britton Parkway, Hilliard, OH 43026, Attn: Customer Relations – CPO Transfers.
All BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicles come with the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Limited Warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the original four-year New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires.
