The auxiliary battery is covered under the Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Battery Limited Warranty which can be added to the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty covers the original Mercedes battery installed, which will be replaced if it is found to be defective in material and workmanship.
The warranty periods are as follows:
Original factory-installed battery: 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first
Replacement battery installed under the terms of the limited warranty: covered for the remainder of the original factory-installed battery warranty terms
Any replacement battery purchased after August 1, 2020, at customer expense: 24 months, unlimited mileage from the date of purchase.
