Great question! The Audi
Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Warranty is 100% transferable to the new owner if you sell your CPO Audi before the warranty expires. With each Certified Used Audi, you get:
All remaining coverage for 6-years/100,000-Mile Limited Vehicle Warranty
The remaining balance of Audi Care Pre-Paid Scheduled Maintenance
Remaining coverage under Audi’s 12-year/Unlimited-Mile Limited Corrosion Perforation Warranty
That said, the CPO warranty will not transfer if you sell or trade in your Audi at a dealership—you must sell it to a private party. If you choose to sell to a dealership, you’ll need to have your vehicle re-certified. This won’t cost you or the new owner anything as it’s still included complimentary under the Audi Certified Program.
If you want to transfer your Audi CPO warranty, you’ll have to download and complete the Audi Certified pre-owned Limited Warranty Transfer Application, which is available on the Audi USA website. You must apply within the first 30 days of selling your vehicle.
