Is parallel parking on the driving test in Texas?

Will I have to parallel park in order to pass my driving test in Texas? I’ve never parallel parked before, and they didn’t teach us how to do it in driving classes. I’m worried that I might fail if I have to do it.

Yes, parallel parking is on the driving test in
Texas
. In fact, it’s the second thing you’ll have to do on your exam! Try not to panic, though, especially since you’ll be allowed to use any helpful technology in your car on the test, including backup cameras.
And even if you don’t have a backup camera, you can still learn how to parallel park before your exam! Just have an experienced driver take you out to practice for at least two hours a few days ahead of your exam so that you’re prepared.
