Is lane splitting legal in Nevada?

I’m venturing out West on my motorcycle for the first time. While I really want to hit Colorado and New Mexico, I’m going to spend a bit of time in Nevada. I’m fairly certain that motorcycle laws outlaw lane splitting, but I’d really like to do it if possible. Does Nevada allow lane splitting?

Lane splitting is illegal in Nevada. This maneuver is explicitly prohibited by Nevada Vehicle Code NRS 486.351(2):
  • A person, except a police officer in the performance of his or her duty, shall not drive a motorcycle or moped between moving or stationary vehicles occupying adjacent traffic lanes.
  • Except as provided in subsection 3, a person shall not drive a motorcycle, moped, or trimobile abreast of or overtake or pass another vehicle within the same traffic lane.
