Is Interstate 75 in Florida a toll road?

Will I have to pay a toll if I take Interstate 75 in Florida on my next road trip? I’m planning my route and I want to avoid the tolls if possible, but Interstate 75 is technically the fastest route.

Interstate 75 in
Florida
is a toll road between Miami and Naples. Unless you have the $14.95 SunPass, which makes tolls a little cheaper, you can expect to pay the following amounts for tolls along 1-75:
  • Two-axle vehicles: $3.25
  • Three-axle vehicles, plus any trailer: $6.50
  • Four-axle vehicles, plus any trailer: $9.75
  • Five-axle vehicles, plus any trailer: $13.00
  • Six-axle vehicles, plus any trailer: $16.25
  • Seven-axle vehicles, plus any trailer: $19.50
  • Eight axles or more, plus any trailer: $22.75
If you’d prefer to avoid the tolls wherever possible, you can filter your navigation app’s results to avoid tolls. Simply toggle the avoid tolls option to ON. If your map still shows some tolls, that means there’s no other way to get to the place you’re going.
