Is Hyundai’s warranty transferable?

I’m getting ready to sell my Hyundai. It’s only a few years old, so it’s still under warranty. Will that warranty transfer?

Hyundais
have some of the best warranties on the market, so it’s great that you’re thinking about whether or not that protection will transfer to your Hyundai’s new owner. That said, only part of the warranty is transferable—the 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty only applies to the car’s original owner.
However, the balances of your remaining warranty are all fully transferable to a new owner:
  • 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty
  • 10-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance
  • 10-year/100,000-mile hybrid/EV battery warranty (if applicable)
