Is Florida Turnpike a toll road?

Will I need to pay a toll to take Florida Turnpike to see my parents? They recently moved and I’m visiting them for the first time, but I don’t want to pay a toll if I can avoid it.

Yes,
Florida
Turnpike is a toll road. There are a few different places along the turnpike that collect tolls of varying amounts, depending on the area you’re driving through and the number of axles on your vehicle.
If you’d like to avoid the tolls, you can try selecting avoid tollson your navigation app of choice. This will minimize the number of tolls you’ll run into on your trip. The only downside is that the new route might take a little longer.
