Is an alternator covered under the Ford warranty?
My battery keeps dying whenever I’m driving my Ford. However, I had the battery charged and tested and found out that it’s still working. That means that it’s probably the alternator. Is the alternator covered under my Ford warranty?

The alternator should be covered under the Ford warranty if it’s indeed the problem you’re experiencing. This type of repair would fall under the 3-year, 36,000-mile basic warranty, so hopefully you’re still within this mileage and time frame.
Although alternators typically last about seven years, a manufacturer defect could have caused this type of problem. Your best bet is to take your car to the dealership for a diagnosis. If you’re still under warranty, Ford should replace this item at no cost to you.
