Is an air conditioning condenser covered by comprehensive car insurance?
The air conditioner in my Toyota Camry stopped working, and when I took it into the shop, they told me there was a hole in the condenser caused by a rock. Will my comprehensive insurance cover this?

“First off, the likelihood that your air conditioning condenser was hit by a rock is almost zero. Have you used this repair shop before? If not, they may be making a false claim to take advantage of insurance money.
The best plan is to take your car to another repair shop for a second opinion. If they also say that your air conditioning condenser was hit by a rock, then
comprehensive insurance
should cover it. Keep in mind that because of the rarity of such damage, the insurance company will most likely conduct an investigation. In the meantime, you may have to survive with a bit of heat behind the wheel.”
