Is a Honda CR-V a small SUV?
Compared to other SUVs, is the Honda CR-V considered small? It seems closer to a hatchback than an SUV to me, but I can’t tell if I’m just used to those huge SUVs that have become so popular lately.

Technically, this vehicle is classified as a compact crossover SUV, meaning it’s smaller than the average SUV on the road.This also means that some people wouldn’t classify the CR-V as an SUV at all. Crossover SUVs are different from traditional SUVs because their frames are based on a car’s platform (and are therefore much more lightweight), while traditional SUVs are constructed based on a truck’s platform (and are therefore extremely sturdy).
