Is a BMW battery covered under warranty?
I recently purchased my dream car—a BMW 430i xDrive. It’s been amazing so far, but it’s already showing signs that the battery is failing. Would this be covered under the warranty?

What a bummer! Fortunately, a BMW’s battery is covered under the Basic New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which addresses any defects in the car’s materials or workmanship for up to four years or 50,000 miles.
This warranty does not cover the battery if it’s been damaged by a collision, weather, or misuse, though. However, if you’re driving an electric BMW, the battery is covered for up to eight years or 80,000 miles.
BMW includes a few warranties with new car purchases:
