claims aren’t available to the general public, they are not private, either.
For example, while they’re deciding whether to take you on as a new client, insurers can consult the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE) for information about claims that previous companies have paid or denied, or other serious inquiries that you have made.
In short, if you file a claim, you can expect that this information will be shared with future insurance companies.”
