Figuring out the remote start sequence can be a little tricky! Here’s how to turn on your
Honda Civic
with the key fob via remote start:- Press the lock button on your fob a couple of times (listen for your car’s honk to confirm it’s locked).
- Hold the remote start button for a few seconds and listen for the sound of your car’s engine starting. The vehicle’s headlights will also flash as it starts.
The remote start will automatically turn off after ten minutes. If you’ve changed your mind and want it to turn off sooner, you can press and hold the remote start button for a few seconds again.
