How to pay to charge an electric car?
I just drove past the mall and saw a lineup of Tesla charging stations, but there wasn’t a convenience store to pay. I see cars charging there all the time—how do you pay to charge an electric car?

The world of EVs is definitely different. To pay to charge an electric car, drivers typically pay at the station or through an app.
Many public charging networks will encourage their users to download the app, make an account and upload their payment method that way.
At a ChargePoint fr example, you simply go up to the station, scan your virtual card from your phone (or physical card if you have one) and the station will authorize you to begin charging. You can then plug your car in. Once you’re done using it, rescan your card to let the station know you’re finished. It will automatically bill your card.
Many stations, like gas stations, have tap insert or swipe features for you to use a debit or credit card.
Whether you pay at a station or pay through the app, paying for charging is made simple.
