Bluetooth has become a necessary vehicle feature these days. To connect Bluetooth to a GMC truck, you can use voice commands or manually connect your device via the vehicle’s dashboard touchscreen.
To connect by voice, push the Talk button on the touchscreen and say, “Bluetooth”. The system will announce that it’s “Bluetooth ready” and beep—then you’ll say, “Pair”. You will be prompted to open the Bluetooth settings option on your mobile phone—your GMC should be listed as a pairing option.
To connect through the touchscreen, press the “Phone” or “Config” button below the screen. Using the control knob, select “Menu”, then “Phone settings”, and “Pair device”. A four-digit PIN will appear on the touchscreen—you will need to open the Bluetooth settings menu on your mobile phone, select your truck from the list of Bluetooth pairing options, then enter the PIN.
Once your phone and GMC are Bluetooth paired, they should automatically sync up when you enter the truck—you don’t have to enter a PIN every time.
