How to Change the Key Battery on a Honda Odyssey

It’s incredibly easy to change the key fob battery for your Honda Odyssey! Typically, these kinds of key fobs employ a standard CR2032 battery, which can be purchased right off the shelf.
To change the key fob yourself, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- First, you’ll want to remove the key. There should be a tiny latch on the middle-top of your keyfob, just above the logo, that you can press to release the key
- Use the key to gently lever open the key fob
- Carefully pry off the dead battery on the inside of the key fob
- Load in your new CR2032 battery
- Press the two sides of the key fob back together until they snap into place
