How should I store a classic car outside?
What's the best way to store a classic car outside? I'm bringing my Ford Model T to my parents' house for a few weeks, and they don't have room in the garage. I need to figure out how to keep it safe outside—what’s the best way to store it outside?

What a cool car! It’s definitely something you want to protect, so there are a few things you’ll need to do to safely store it outside.
To start, when storing a classic car outside, it’s important to keep it covered and make sure all the fluids are topped off. There are also some more specific ways to protect your classic car while keeping it outside:
- Fill your car with fresh oil. Some contaminants in used oil can actually cause damage to your car if you let it sit for too long.
- Top off the gas tank. Filling your car with gas will prevent moisture from building up in the tank and causing damage.
- Block off any entrances to your car’s engine. Cover any exhausts or intake pipes to prevent animals from crawling in and nesting in your car.
- Use a good cover. Tarps can trap moisture around your car and cause damage to the exterior. Make sure to use a breathable cover that lets moisture escape but still protects from the sun.
Remember, insurance won’t cover wear and tear, so you won’t be insured for damages that result from improper storage. However, if you have
