How reliable is a BMW 1 Series?
I want to get a 1 Series for my first car, but I’m buying it used. Are BMW 1 Series usually reliable? I’m a little nervous that the seller is getting rid of it because it has a lot of issues that I don’t know about.

There are some mixed reviews when it comes to the reliability of
BMW
1 Series cars, but most customer surveys place these cars at about the middle of the pack. They’re not known for being unreliable—but that doesn’t mean that they won’t have any issues, either!The reliability of the car you’ve got your eye on will also depend on the model and year. Older vehicles may be less reliable due to their age, and the 125i and 130i are both rated as much more reliable than other BMW 1 Series models.
If you’re worried that the seller might be hiding some issues with the BMW you’re considering, you can ask to have it inspected before you buy. That way, you’ll know what you’re in for in terms of potential repairs. You might even get a lower price out of the deal!
