Great question! So, the first thing you need to decide is whether or not you’re going to do the lower yourself or if you’re going to pay someone to do it for you—that’s going to have a huge impact on how much it will cost to get your 2-door

lowered. It could be anywhere from $500 to $1,500 for the parts alone. If you buy a lowering kit and install it yourself, it will be cheaper. While you can find lowering kits for as little as $500, you’ll generally want to stick to the $1,000-$1,500 range.
If you decide to have a mechanic install the kit for you, you’ll also have to pay for the cost of labor. Every mechanic has a different rate, but it’s usually around $80-$100 per hour. Spending on how familiar your mechanic is with the procedure, it could take anywhere from two to eight hours. Make sure to get a quote from a few mechanics before picking one.
